Private Road Cycling Experience
From the Mediterranean to a fortified village hidden among the mountains. A ride for those who want to enjoy a great day on the bike while discovering a completely different side of Andalusia.
Our adventure begins in Estepona, beside its traditional fishing port with the Mediterranean as our backdrop. From here, we’ll set off on a journey of almost 90 kilometres, gradually leaving the coast behind and heading inland.
As the kilometres pass, the landscape begins to change. The coastal atmosphere gives way to quiet roads, rolling hills and wide-open natural landscapes — the perfect setting for a true road cycling experience.
Our destination is Castellar de la Frontera, but first, we have to earn it.
The road begins to rise, leading us into one of the most beautiful sections of the day: the climb to the Castle of Castellar. A stunning ascent surrounded by nature, with winding roads that gradually gain altitude and views that make every kilometre worthwhile.
And at the top comes the reward.
Perched high above the surrounding countryside is the spectacular fortified village of Castellar, a unique collection of whitewashed houses protected within the walls of its historic castle and surrounded by an impressive natural landscape.
This is our chance to slow down, explore this remarkable corner of Andalusia, enjoy the views and take a well-earned break before beginning our journey back.
We’ll then ride towards Estepona along new roads, and as the kilometres pass, the Mediterranean gradually reappears on the horizon, guiding us back towards the coast.
But the experience isn’t over yet.
Back in Estepona, we’ll put the bikes aside and celebrate the kilometres we’ve ridden the way a great cycling day deserves — with a locally brewed craft beer.
From the fishing port to the castle. From the coast to the mountains. And from the final kilometre to a well-earned beer.
